Terms of Service

By hiring Palm Beach Maid customer accepts Terms of Service.

Independent Hiring Policy

Whereas it is acknowledged that Palm Beach Maid invests considerable time, energy, skill and revenue into the recruitment, training, management, motivation, and compensation of its employees, the Customer agrees not to hire or attempt to hire a present or former employee of Palm Beach Maid for any purpose whatsoever, for the term of this agreement and for a further period of two years after last service date, without the express written permission of Palm Beach Maid. However, if you do wish to employ a staff member directly please discuss this matter with the owner of Palm Beach Maid. If you are found to have solicited one of our staff please be advised that our referral/training fee is $3,500 per hired employee. Payment is due within 30 days from the date on the invoice. We consider our employees our most valuable asset and charge accordingly.

Accepted Forms of Payment

Palm Beach Maid does not accept cash payment in order to reduce the liability for cleaners to carry cash with them.
Our preferred payment method is check, which should be made out to Palm Beach Maid. Please tip your cleaner separately from the check made out to Palm Beach Maid.
We can also accept credit card payments, however there will be a 3.5% service fee added to your cleaning total to cover transaction fees and other costs related to accepting credit cards. Our posted prices are based on check payments, please refer to website for credit card-based prices. Please contact our office for further information on accepted forms of payment

Returned Check Policy

In the event that Customer's check payment is returned by the Customer's bank, Customer agrees to pay original check amount plus a $25 Returned Item Fee.
Palm Beach reserves the right to withhold future service until account balance has been paid by customer. Customer is allowed two returned checks after which payment by check will not be accepted.

Cancellation Policy

We ask that you cancel any service at least 48 hours before your appointment time. This will help us fill up any openings for your cleaner and provide her with a healthy pay check. Thank you!

Late Cancellation and Lock-out Fee

There is a $29 Late Cancellation Fee if you cancel your appointment less than 1 hour before your appointment time or if your cleaner is locked out and unable to do your cleaning due to having no access to your location. If you are not home for your cleaning, please make sure to call us in at your security gate as "Palm Beach Maid", give us a working gate code, and provide instructions how we can enter your house.

Palm Beach Maid will waive this fee for the first time, after which this fee will be added each time it happens.
